Let Your Kingdom

by Pastor Leonce Crump II on November 30, 2011

As we dwell on the promise of our coming King in this season of Advent, I'd like to share a new song just written by one of our lead worshippers that we will be doing this Sunday as we launch our Advent series.

Let Your Kingdom-Sam Crowley(key of A)

Verse 1: Let all the things that I have

And the status that I’ve earned

Fall away.

Let all the praise that I get

And give to myself

Cease to be.

Let the glory of Your name

And the further of Your fame

Be my call,

My only reason to live,

The very thing that makes me breathe,

Until I come home.

Chorus: Let Your kingdom come into this world

And last forever.

We’re not waiting to deserve

To call You savior.

All our confidence can break itself down if it’s not in Your love.

Verse 2: Be hope that moves me to sing,

Peace that proves itself strong

In my pain;

And until Your return,

The coming back of my king,

Please sustain.

Bridge: In Christ, we strive

For the love that he has shown

In Christ, we strive

Till the coming of our lord…

And his kingdom.
